What is the difference between the Holy Spirit and the Human spirit?

Holy Spirit vs. Human Spirit: Sealed Within, Empowered Upon

Dan Duval explores the distinction between the Holy Spirit and the human spirit, explaining that the Holy Spirit is God, while the human spirit is part of human design and remains fallible. He discusses biblical teachings on how the Holy Spirit seals believers for the day of redemption and dwells within their spirit and heart, while also coming upon them with power, as demonstrated at Pentecost.

Through personal experiences, including a dream encounter with the Holy Spirit and receiving the gift of tongues in high school, Dan shares insights into the role of the Holy Spirit in a believer’s life. He also recounts an encounter with his own human spirit during prayer, exploring how spiritual gifts such as tongues and prophecy may operate through the soul even when a person’s human spirit feels inaccessible.

Dan contrasts soul-level Christianity with spirit-level Christianity, encouraging believers to persist in their spiritual journey. He also discusses the potential role of deliverance and inner healing in helping individuals reconnect with their human spirit. The episode concludes with information about upcoming schools offered by Bride Ministries.
